Welcome to Tatsu Dojo Martial Arts and Fitness, where we empower individuals to achieve their fitness goals through a unique blend of martial arts and personal training. We specialize in functional fitness, strength and conditioning, and post-injury rehabilitation, ensuring a comprehensive approach to your wellness journey. If you are looking to enhance your physical abilities or recover from an injury, we are here to support you every step of the way.
Functional Fitness

Good coaching goes a long way in helping you to achieve personal goals that you may have thought were not possible. Having someone in your corner who understands your specific challenges to improved health is invaluable to helping you overcome them.

Every person who comes to our facility is unique. That's why all of our appointments are one-on-one. We'll listen to you and together, we'll come up with a challenging and fun program that will allow you to progress towards all of your goals.
Kick Boxing
Kick boxing is a fantastic work-out, especially when you have the right coach to teach the basics and guide you through routines. Some of our clients train with us solely for kick boxing lessons, but we also offer it for strength and conditioning clients who want the challenge and excitement of having a "sparring partner."

Because this is technically not martial arts training, we generally do not actually spar with training clients, but we do give you the opportunity to knock us and and the bags around a little bit.

We use other rudimentary types of calisthenics during these sessions, such as push-ups, body weight squats, sit-ups, etc., to give provide you with whole-body training along with an excellent cardiovascular routine.
Strength & Conditioning

Strength and conditioning is the science behind improved athletic performance. Athletes, first responders, martial artists or athletes of any age will benefit from a strength and conditioning regime.

But it's much more than going to the gym and throwing weights around. A strength coach is someone with the knowledge and expertise to not only show you the "how," but the "why." Our strength and conditioning clients are always amazed at how much they learned, even after one session. If you're looking to improve your physical performance, give us a chance to tell you more about what we do.
Post Injury Rehabilitation

Dealing with chronic injuries and pain can be difficult and frustrating. That's why having a trainer with a background in physical rehabilitation can be a game changer for you.

All of our clients start with a thorough Orthopedic Assessment, where we not only address your specific issues, but also examine gait, posture and muscular imbalance. Chronic injuries and pain often cause systemic problems; we'll not only help you figure your what the root of your problem is, but also design a program that addresses everything else.

We'll use a hands-on approach to guide you through things like stretching, mobility and theraputic exercise. We can help you get back in the game.
About Me

I've spent the last 40 years doing the two things I love most; martial arts training and professional rehabilitation. As an aging athlete, I know exactly what it feels like to deal with life altering injuries and pain.

I also know how important it is to have a good coach and mentor to help you achieve your goals.

I promise to give you 100% of my time and attention, to treat you the way that I'd want to be treated.

It's what we do.
